Merry Christmas

I know it's only November 17 and that there is still about another six weeks to go until Christmas. But a friend
asked me the other day,

"Have you done your Christmas shopping, yet?"

" Have I done my Christmas shopping,yet?"

" I haven't even thought about it".

I tend to be a last minute Christmas shopper. Mainly because it never feels like Christmas.
Even Christmas Eve and Christmas don't feel christmassy. And because It doesn't feel like Christmas
I forget to do my shopping. The fact that the shops and stores may start putting the Christmas
paraphernalia in mid-October makes no difference to me. I always feel as if I've got plenty of time to do
my shopping
