Some Thoughts

After gaving reread some of the latest enteries, and having
thought yuck, I have decided to revist my reasons for keeping
this "Blog"

I keep it to combat my internal Censor.

I am starting on my first novel this year and that wouldn't have
been possible if I hadn't spent the seven or so months writing
crap for this blog.

Yes, crap. That's the whole point-to write crap and then to rewrite
it into gold, or at least something better than crap.

That's the 'secret' ,isn't it? Good writing is rewriting. I mean
there's no way your going to write 100,000 words if your
internal censor won't even let you write a sentence.

This blog has been and is about saying to my internal censor,

"Shut up you muthafukka, and let me finish my piece -and
then come back to help me criticise the shit out of it."

It hasn't been easy,and still isn't, to write pass my censor.
But it is getting easier.

And that makes me feel good.

Aquarium Update

Since my last update, I have done a water change and
have adjusted the Ph level of the water in my tank.
My Gold gourami has grown to be much bigger than
the other fish in the tank and has become the alpha
male and seems to be keeping the aggressiveness
in check. I will be adding female fish and more plants
to my aquarium.
