Book Review 8: The Secret World of Annette Robinson by Paulette Gittins
The Secret World of Annette Robinson byPaulette Gittins
is a novel set in 1950s Kings Cross (Sydney, Australia)
and it is narrated by its main character, Annette Robinson,
who relates her life from five to ten years of age.
It is a story about childhoodconcerns and adult secrets
which is written in a poetic style and is filled with
engaging characters. I enjoyed reading it.
