Way up high,
on a branch of the old eucalyptus tree,
Tom stands akimbo in his new Superman suit.
His cape flaps in the summer holiday breeze.
"Watch me FLY!" he shouts to the chickens below,
as he launches himself skywards.
The chickens cover their eyes with their wings.
